Well, folks, what a win that was last night! Manchester United went toe-to-toe with one of the best teams in European football and gave them a real run for their money.
It’s that kind of commitment, drive and desire that the Old Trafford faithful expect from their players, and to see them do it in such a high-pressure game was a real joy to watch.
The team just looked different, and I believe it all stems from the front-man. When players see Romelu Lukaku slowly ambling up the pitch, that’s hardly inspiring. However, when they see Alexis Sanchez giving it his absolute all, they all want to follow suit.
Sure, Sanchez didn’t get himself a goal, but his overall play was far superior to Lukaku’s, and at least he brings a bit of life to the team as a whole.
Perhaps the man from Chile has finally found his best role at the club, and this weekend against Manchester City, me, amongst others, firmly believe that the ex-Arsenal man has to play through the middle. He played a big role in our last game at The Etihad, so hopefully, he can do something similar this coming Sunday!
Alexis Sanchez gives us that extra dimension in attack. He may not have scored last night, but the performance was one to be pleased with. Has to start vs City on Sunday! #mufc pic.twitter.com/72dOiVQIz8

I hope Sanchez isn't injured, seemed to sustained a knock to his thigh, I hope he's available v City. Massive today, dropped deep to link up play, stretched the game when he could, I thought Rashford could have started cuz he'd have sprinted into the space left by Sanchez. #MUFC
