Manchester United Football Club finally had some good news regarding injuries, as it was confirmed by Louis van Gaal that Luke Shaw, who broke his leg in two places, is set to return to training this coming Monday.
“He will train on the pitch for the first time next week. It will be difficult for him to play the FA Cup final.” Louis van Gaal said.
Whilst there clearly isn’t enough time left in the season for him to get on the pitch, the sole fact that he is back in training before the end of the campaign must be a huge boost to the young man.
It means he has time to get himself back to fitness, allowing him to have the summer off like normal, and getting a full pre-season back under his belt with the rest of the team ahead of the 2016/17 Premier League campaign.
