Manchester United were thought to have made an official approach for Sergio Ramos over the last few days, and that first offer of £35million was swiftly rejected by Real Madrid. However according to the Daily Mail, Louis van Gaal is readying an improved offer for the Spanish centre-back.
Their has been no figure put on the new offer as of yet, but Sergio Ramos himself is growing unhappy at the Bernabeu, and he wants his future to be decided before the pre-season tours begin midway through July.
If this deal does go through, that means it will happen within the next few weeks rather than leaving us hanging on all the way through to the end of August.
There is more positive news coming from the same media outlet too, as David de Gea is yet to be the subject of a formal offer from Real Madrid.
