Inter Milan make Sanchez approach, trying to secure permanent deal: report

Alexis Sanchez and Manchester United just hasn’t been a good match whatsoever.

Since his arrival almost eighteen months ago, the superstar Chilean has done nothing but collect a huge weekly wage; which is a shame because the excitement when he signed was massive.

I guess the best thing about the 30-year-old’s move to Old Trafford was his piano-playing skills as he put pen to paper on his first United deal. Now, though, it looks as though he’s set to leave the Red Devils with a whimper.

According to the usually reliable Adam Crafton, Inter Milan could offer him that way out as they’ve already made a ‘formal approach’ to the player. Furthermore, the #7’s preferred option is a permanent transfer away from United by the start of July.

Apparently, the Serie A giants are ‘exploring ways’ that a deal could happen. Crafton also adds that United would need to waive a fee, while the player would probably have to take a wage cut.

I don’t think you can say fairer than that. For everyone involved this has just been an absolute disaster and it’s best for both parties to move in their different directions.

United want his wages off the books, Sanchez wants to be playing regularly as he looks to get back to the level we all know he is capable of. Sometimes, it just doesn’t work out for players in certain situations, this is one of those times.
