Despite some pretty good work in the transfer market, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United still needs time to develop, grow, and perhaps most importantly – clear out the deadwood.
Amongst the names whom the Reds fans want out is Alexis Sanchez. The winger is struggling, though he could well be close to an Old Trafford exit.
The story comes from Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, who tweeted a major update on Sanchez’s future earlier today.
He states that Italian giant Inter Milan will sign the 30-year-old on loan with an option to buy, while the clubs will continue to talk today in an effort to close the deal within the ‘next hours’.
Furthermore, the last thing that needs to be finalised is his wage, which is understandable given the colossal amount of money Sanchez earns at United.
Sometimes, it’s best just to move on. Sanchez, for all his brilliance, has failed miserably in Manchester. Some of it is his own fault, some is bad luck while some blame rests on the club and both managers the Chilean has worked under.
For United, it’s about cutting their losses and ridding of a dressing room problem. For Sanchez, it’s about a fresh opportunity and proving to the world that he’s still a top-class player…
