Manchester United picked up yet another victory yesterday, making it sixteen games on the spin without defeat.
It’s fair to say Bruno Fernandes has been the catalyst to the Red Devils’ season as their assault on the Premier League’s top-four continues.
Our Portuguese Magnifico has scored six and assisted five in just nine Premier League appearances, including two assists and a sweetly-taken goal during United’s 5-2 win over Bournemouth at Old Trafford yesterday. It’s also nice to finally have a proper free-kick taker…
I think we all expected Fernandes to be an improvement, but not this soon and definitely not at such a high level. Β£47million is already feeling like an absolute steal.
He has this aura, this presence, this influence, this style that makes everyone around him better. right now, the whole squad is benefitting, as is manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, whose decision it was to sign Fernandes is looking like an absolute masterstroke.
What sums him up for me is the work ethic. Yes, he’s our biggest attacking threat and it would be easy for him to leave the defending to everyone else. Instead, Fernandes is willing to track back and do the dirty work late in games. I guess that’s what helps him become the insane footballer we’re all enjoying watching right now.
He’s already a firm favourite for the supporters and it’s pretty easy to see why. We’re yet to see a bad game from our Bruno and long may that continue. Anyway as you’d expect, United fans heaped the praise on the 25-year-old star who continues to impress…
