Italian side line up bid for signature of Manchester United first-team midfielder

Over the January transfer window, there were reports coming out of Italy suggesting that AC Milan were desperately trying to sign Manchester United’s Marouane Fellaini on loan or either permanently. However for one reason or another the move didn’t go through.

According to The Mirror, the Serie A side are likely to renew their interest during the summer, and are readying a fresh bid for the Belgium international.

The Mirror go on to say that AC Milan are prepared to pay up to £12million to land the 28-year old, and tie him down to a long-term contract getting his best years of football.

At the end of the day I highly doubt the Manchester United fans will be all that upset if Fellaini does in fact leave Old Trafford. Yes, he is clearly talented, but he simply doesn’t fit our style of play ands sadly, I don’t think he ever will.
