All the talk surrounding Jack Grealish’s future recently undoubtedly has Manchester United fans excited.
However, in what’s going to be the weirdest summer transfer window in years due to COVID-19, who knows what’ll happen?
Well, this morning we’ve been given the clearest indication yet that Grealish could be on the move this summer. It comes from The Athletic, who state that the star 24-year-old is expected to leave Villa this summer.
Apparently, Grealish is determined to keep his boyhood club in the Premier League, in search of a ‘bigger, brighter future’ at the top of the table.
What’s most interesting from a United standpoint is the fact that they’re currently leading the chase to sign the attacking midfielder – who has greatly impressed this season.
Look, there’s only so far Grealish can take Villa. He’s done all he can to help them, but now, he has to be selfish and take his talents elsewhere. Be it United, another top Premier League club or a move abroad, the timing feels right to move on and showcase his talents on a global scale.
I’d love him at Old Trafford. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, he has that swagger, that arrogance, that self-belief and most importantly, talent. He definitely won’t be cheap, but in my opinion, it’d be money well spent…
