Jadon Sancho has now been into first-team training at Man United, after over two months away.
Manchester United Football Club have been without the services of Jadon Sancho since before the World Cup. The Englishman is clearly going through some off-field things at present. We wish him all the best in his personal life.
He’s seemingly been in conversation with Erik ten Hag about what’s happening, with the pair coming to an agreement which led to Sancho being away from the AON Training Complex as a result.
Sancho has even spent time working with coaches recommended by Ten Hag, displaying that he is fully intent on working hard to get himself back fit and ready, when the time is right.
Well, apparently that time is now. The story comes from the Manchester Evening News, which states that the 22-year-old United star has been integrated back into first-team training after two months away.
At this point, it’s worth pointing out that it’s going to be baby steps. Sancho hasn’t been in the mix since November. He will need time to get fully up to speed before he’s even considered for a matchday squad.
More than anything, it’s about being in the right frame of mind. Sancho clearly has had some stuff going on. Hopefully, those issues are now firmly behind him.
With games set to come thick and fast between now and the end of the campaign, we’re certainly going to need a fully fit and firing Sancho.
The talent and ability has been there for all to see. Although he’s yet to hit his dizzy Borussia Dortmund heights here in Manchester, perhaps this latest incident will be the making of Sancho at Old Trafford.
