Jadon Sancho impresses vs Burnley as he starts to find his feet

Man United are starting to see the best version of Jadon Sancho.

Over the summer, Manchester United finally landed a man they’d been chasing for several transfer windows in the form of Jadon Sancho.

The Englishman had been tearing it up in the Bundesliga with Germany for a number of years, before eventually sealing a move back to the Premier League.

Sancho had a pretty difficult summer away with England, which probably led to his early-season struggles in form. However, the £73million man is slowly but surely starting to prove his worth under Ralf Rangnick.

He’s now starting to string the games together and last night against Burnley, I’d say he played his best overall performances. He looked threatening every single time he had the ball at his feet, constantly causing problems for the Burnley defence.

Statistically, it was a good outing, with Sancho winning the ball back seven times, making five crosses, four dribbles and taking three shots. Thanks to Statman Dave for the numbers.

The United star is now beginning to show his quality and now it’s up to the winger to really push on from here and finish the season strong.

In a way, the loan moves for Anthony Martial and Amad have definitely helped Sancho’s case. As has Mason Greenwood dropping completely out of the mix.

There is now going to be more consistent opportunities for Sancho to prove his skill and we’re already seeing that in abundance.

Hopefully, Rangnick keeps faith in the Englishman from now until the end of the campaign, because there’s a reason why United spent so much money to bring him in.

I guess all that’s left is to start adding more goals and assists to his game and then we’ll really start to witness just how brilliant Sancho can be.

Does Jadon Sancho have what it takes to make that starting spot his own? Let us know your thoughts in the comment box below.
