Jadon Sancho ‘keen’ on Borussia Dortmund transfer, Man United now in negotiations

Manchester United are in talks to allow Jadon Sancho to head to Borussia Dortmund on loan.

Manchester United have a Jadon Sancho problem. The winger, who has been exiled from all first-team activities since September, is still collecting a hefty weekly wage despite not being involved at all.

This January is vital in regard to Sancho and his overall career. United simply have to move on from the Englishman in order to get his salary off the books, while the player should be looking at getting his own personal situation back on track.

Well, Fabrizio Romano has provided some news on that front. The Italian journalist has confirmed that United are now in negotiations with Borussia Dortmund over a potential loan deal to the German club.

Sancho himself is ‘keen’ on a return to Dortmund, as he considers his options to rediscover his best form. So-much-so that the player has given a ‘green light’ on the transfer, with the winger now waiting for United to sort a deal out.

I’m all for sending Sancho to Dortmund. A loan was always likely at this stage given his astronomical weekly wages, as much as I would have preferred a permanent deal for the wide man.

Sancho needs to get away from this club for the good of everyone. His own hatred towards the manager would be a negative for the rest of the dressing room if he was kept around, hence why he hasn’t been training with the first-team for several months now.

It’s sad, but I don’t doubt that Sancho will rediscover his best form if this move does go through. Although it’s a shame it hasn’t worked out for him here in Manchester, he’s still an excellent footballer. Hopefully, he can do well enough to ensure that United receive a decent transfer fee when an inevitable permanent sale happens in the summer.
