For most Manchester United fans, the dream player in the right-wing position would be Jadon Sancho.
The Englishman enjoyed a stellar breakthrough season at Borussia Dortmund in 2018/19, with the Reds rumoured to be interested in the teenager over the summer.
Well, according to the Daily Mail, Sancho turned down said interest in him from United. He also said no to Paris Saint-Germain, too…
Now the superstar 19-year-old is set to sign a new contract at his current club, though both United and Manchester City are still circling for Sancho’s signature.
Sancho is now set to earn just under £10million per year and no doubt the length of the contract is what’ll be most important to Dortmund. I’d like to think United are at the front of the Sancho queue, though finishing in the top four and sealing a place in the Champions League for next season is absolutely key to our hopes of signing the right-winger.
You’re probably looking at £100million plus. United can afford it, mind, and it would solve a real problem position. We’ve started strongly in 2019/20 but we need to keep up this form for the season’s duration as the competition will certainly be fierce…
