Manchester United still hold a firm interest in Jadon Sancho.
We’ve been here before, although admittedly not for a while. Manchester United interest in Jadon Sancho is no surprise, with the Red Devils still looking for that world-class operator from the right-hand side.
Englishman Sancho was the number one desire last summer, though the coronavirus pandemic made that move nigh-on impossible. Well, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could be back in for the winger this time around.
According to 90min.com, the talented 21-year-old is still United’s first-choice target in the key position of right-wing. With the Reds looking to fill a big void within their squad – and one they’ve had for years since Antonio Valencia left.
Although COVID-19 is still a thing, it feels like the situation is easing up significantly, while Borussia Dortmund may not command as high a transfer fee this time around.
Sancho’s talent is there for all to see, while as soon as he walks through the Old Trafford doors, he’d immediately become one of the first names on the team sheet.
Goals, assists, a team player, Sancho has the lot. A move to Manchester would also bolster his chances at starting regularly for England. Which must make the possible transfer an attractive proposition for the player.
You get the feeling that a deal for Sancho is more likely to happen than one for say, Erling Haaland. While we’re on that subject, 90min.com also state that United haven’t given up hope in regards to convincing Edinson Cavani to stick around for another season. If that happens, it’d certainly give the gaffer one less problem to worry about in a massive transfer window for Manchester United Football Club.
