Jadon Sancho to Man Utd a done deal: report

Well, here we are. After a couple of years wait, Jadon Sancho is on the verge of officially becoming a Manchester United player.

Manchester United need a huge summer transfer window to get themselves firmly in the title race for the 2021/22 campaign.

The name on everyone’s lips was that of Jadon Sancho and after pushing hard to sign the Englishman in each of the last two summer transfer windows, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks like he’s finally going to get his man.

The fee and personal terms have been agreed as United have reached an agreement to sign the star attacker.

Sancho will sign a contract until 2026, while everything is completed pending a successful medical. That’s according to the usually excellent Fabrizio Romano.

The fee sits at around £77million, with extra available in various add-ones and bonuses. That’s around £20m than the reported £108m it would’ve cost to sign Sancho last summer. Perhaps waiting a year wasn’t the worst idea, hey?

You’d imagine the medical will be absolutely no issue, though United may have to wait as Sancho is obviously still with England at EURO 2020. Whether or not those tests can be completed before the Three Lions head to Rome for their game against Ukraine remains to be seen.

At this point, though, all roads lead to Sancho playing in United Red in the 2021/22 campaign and thats’s super exciting.

To be honest, I’ll just be glad to see the back of this transfer saga. It has gone on far too long, with each and every snippet of information being reported on a day-by-day basis. Finally, it looks like we’re coming to the conclusion we all hoped for!
