Man United are yet to announce a move for Jadon Sancho, despite all sources claiming the deal is completed. Well, now we know why…
The Old Trafford Faithful are (rightfully) buzzing that Manchester United are close to securing Jadon Sancho’s signature.
I say closely, because, well, the deal is yet to be formally announced despite the Red Devils confirming that an agreement with Borussia Dortmund had been reached weeks ago.
That left some supporters somewhat doubtful that the move had collapsed. Well, fear not. According to the Manchester Evening News, the signing announcement has been delayed by a ‘minor issue’.
Sancho has already undergone his medical, before jetting off for his summer holidays.
United had planned on confirming the signing of Sancho late last week, however, there has been a hold-up in finalising some paperwork. Fear not, as there is a hope the deal will be confirmed this weekend.
The good news is that there is no major hiccup, there is no failed medical or any serious issues like that. It’s probably just some wrong information on the paperwork that both clubs are trying to get ironed out as quickly as possible.
You’d imagine that, within the next few days, Sancho will be officially confirmed as a Red Devil and we’ll all be eagerly waiting to see him take to the field shortly thereafter.
I can’t underestimate how massive of a signing this is for the Old Trafford club. Sancho is someone who could, quite feasibly, give you a decade of service at the highest level. Goals, assists, pace, on-ball quality, the lot.
Our star-studded attack is about to become even better – and I can’t wait to see how Sancho gets on.
