Jadon Sancho won’t ‘think twice’ about making Man United switch, Berbatov claims

Manchester United Football Club have been in great form recently. Credit has to go to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, his coaching staff and squad.

However, the Red Devils are still some way behind the Premier League front-runners. Perhaps one or two marquee signings away…

Amongst the names constantly linked with an Old Trafford move is Jadon Sancho. The young Englishman has been tearing up the Bundesliga ever since making the switch to Germany. Now, though, it feels like he’s ready to return home…

Well, according to United great Dimitar Berbatov, the 20-year-old superstar won’t think twice about moving to the Red half of Manchester if the opportunity arises…

“In his case, because he’s English and Man United are in for you, I don’t think he will think twice about moving there.” Berbatov is quoted as saying by talkSPORT.

“He could be a great addition, he needs to step up, play, score and advance to the next stage of development.

“Solskjaer is slowly, but surely, building up a team of young players with a mix of experience, and as we can see, it has been getting results.

“So it’s good to see them moving in the right direction and if Sancho is next then it will be great for the team.”

Honestly, this would be brilliant. Sancho is a player who creates excitement, and the link-up between him and Marcus Rashford would be something pretty special.

I wouldn’t say that right-wing has been a problem, but United could definitely do better in that position. Sancho would likely cost upwards of £100million but in terms of longevity, the transfer fee would eventually pay for itself.

Now is the perfect time to start laying the foundations for a big-money move this summer. Hopefully, Edward Woodward, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and the Glazer family are all working hard in that regard.
