Jadon Sancho is keen on remaining at Borussia Dortmund beyond his current loan agreement.
Manchester United still have themselves a Jadon Sancho issue to solve. The winger had a very public disagreement with manager Erik ten Hag, before being completely exiled from the first-team squad.
The ex-Borussia Dortmund man would then head back on loan to the German club in January. After a slow start, Sancho seems to be finding his feet once again with the Bundesliga club, scoring in each of his last two games.
You get the impression that he’ll need to keep up this form for a prolonged period of time if United want to recoup anything close to the £70m+ they paid to sign Sancho.
Upon Sancho’s goal against PSV in Europe last night, Fabrizio Romano confirmed that the United player would ‘really love’ to stay at the club he’s currently on loan at. It makes sense, given that’s where he has played the best football of his career over the years.
Ironically, United will probably want Dortmund to sign him permanently, too. As long as Erik ten Hag is in charge, there’s simply no way back for Sancho at Old Trafford. To be honest, even any potential new gaffer is unlikely to want to work with the Englishman, given the way he has acted of late.

It’s just a sad situation. Sancho is incredibly gifted. Nobody can deny that. However, attitude questions have followed him throughout his career. Those may go quiet for a little while, particularly if he’s playing well, but they’ll never disappear completely.
I genuinely hope Sancho leaves United permanently, giving him the chance to put this period in his career behind him, with the belief that the winger can rediscover his best form in a different situation.
