Jadon Sancho is apparently being questioned by some members of the squad due to his effort and attitude.
Manchester United’s recent results definitely leave cause for concern. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is now coming into question, with people genuinely worried that he’s not good enough for this club.
With our fixture list looking ominous, the crows are starting to circle. However, it’s not just Solskjaer coming in for criticism. Apparently, some are now having doubts about Jadon Sancho…
Apparently, some members of the United dressing room as the effort and attitude of the mega-money star signing is being questioned. Internally, there are concerns whether the Englishman is good enough to adapt to the demands of the Premier League…
Check out what Duncan Castles had to say in full here:
The Mirror has cited Duncan Castles on The Transfer Window Podcast as saying ‘there are growing concerns within the club’s squad that Sancho is struggling to adapt to the demands of the Premier League.’ He adds that ‘internally, Sancho’s efforts and attitude in training are being questioned.’
My initial impression is that this just isn’t fair. Sancho has been here for literally a few months, while he arrived in Manchester on the back of a pretty difficult summer from a personal standpoint.
The difference between Premier League and Bundesliga football is massive, while Borussia Dortmund and United play completely contrasting styles. It was always going to take Sancho time.
Factor in Sancho arriving with a couple of niggling injuries and a bout of Covid-19 and it was always a recipe for initial disaster.
One thing you cannot deny, though, is his immense talent. Sancho is too good of a player to turn this around. Honestly, this feels like paper talk trying to drum up problems where there aren’t one. Sancho is a top-quality operator who’ll leave a long-lasting positive impression on the Premier League by the time he hangs up his boots. I have absolutely no doubt about that.
