Manchester United are close to tying 18-year old Belgian starlet Adnan Januzaj, to a new long-term deal, the Telegraph writes. The attacking midfielder had an excellent pre-season tour and many believe he could be the answer to our midfield problems.
Interest has been high in the youngster over the summer, with teams like Barcelona reportedly interested in his signature. United don’t want a repeat of the Paul Pogba situation though, and are confident the left-footed Belgian will put pen to paper soon.
Januzaj capped off his pre-season in style against Sevilla, he beat two men with ease before putting it on a plate for Antonio Valencia to tap home.
The paper also believe Januzaj will be named in Moyes’ squad to take on Swansea on Saturday.
