Javier Hernandez set to join Juventus on a permanent deal

Manchester United are set to lose one of their four strikers, with Javier Hernandez set to follow Patrice Evra’s footsteps and switch Old Trafford for Turin. The striker found himself on the bench for large parts of last season, and now he’ll leave Manchester United in search of regular playing time elsewhere.

According to The Express, the deal between the two clubs in close, and could be announced before the season starts. The Express go on to say that this move could make Arturo Vidal to Manchester United more likely to happen.

There is no doubting the fact that Javier Hernandez does score goals. Sadly though, playing as a striker is about much more than that these days, and his hold-up play just isn’t good enough. When you’ve got the likes of James Wilson, Angelo Henriquez and Will Keane waiting in the wings, it makes sense to let Hernandez go now whilst he still has some transfer value, and promote one of the aforementioned trio to the first-team.

I reckon if we get about £10-15million for Chicharito then its a good deal for all parties. Manchester United will have made a profit, Juventus are guaranteed goals and Javier Hernandez will get the minutes he deserves. Lets just hope a deal can be agreed.
