Javier Hernandez’s Manchester United future in doubt

Mexican international Javier Hernandez was a revelation in his first few of seasons at Old Trafford, playing a huge part in two title wins for the Red half of Manchester. However, after just six Premier League starts this season, he is reportedly considering his future.

With a new manager coming in, Javier Hernandez could be tempted to stay and see whether Louis van Gaal will utilize him more often. His international manage, Miguel Herrera believes differently; He wants him to leave Manchester United.

When asked about whether Hernandez should leave, Herrera said:

“In the case of ‘Chicharito’, I believe it’d be in his interest to leave so he is taken into consideration to play,”

The striker himself told Record that he doesn’t know what’ll happen, and at the moment he is purely focused on the World Cup.

“There is obviously uncertainty [regarding my future], but right now I am fully focused on the national team,” he said.

“My agent and my staff help me work it all out.

“My future could be decided tomorrow, a little after or within three months. (I could) stay there (in Manchester), I really don’t know.”

Chicharito scored nine goals in 35 appearances for United this season.

  1. Yes, i would keep Chicha and with other strikers we have at our disposal we are alright as far as the striker position is concerned.

    • Personally I’d let him go. We have an abundance of strikers waiting in the wings. Money could be spent better elsewhere.

  2. Yes , DEFINATLEY , he’s a great poacher in the jimmy greaves , Michael Owen style . Always worth a goal when he plays ….
