Manchester United could be flirting with the possibility of bringing in a new manager this summer, with Louis van Gaal clearly not loved by the fans. The name everyone expects to take over is Jose Mourinho, and that in itself would be a huge signing.
According to Le10Sport, he is already making transfer plans, and is desperate to bring in West Ham United’s Reece Oxford this coming transfer window.
Oxford, 17, made his Premier League debut in the first league game of this season in stunning fashion. He played an absolute blinder against Arsenal, and ever since then he has been watched by a whole host of so-called bigger clubs.
The versatile Englishman is capable of playing across the back four, as well as in the middle of the park which is obviously an attractive proposition.
West Ham wouldn’t be keen in parting with one of their most prized assets though, and if Jose Mourinho does get the job, he’d have to spend big to land Reece Oxford.
