Manchester United take on Leicester City this weekend, with the current Premier League champions visiting Old Trafford quite early on in the season. Jose Mourinho will be hoping to get all three points here and get his players back on the right track.
At this point in time, we have plenty of injury issues protruding through the squad at the moment, which must be a concern for Jose Mourinho, especially going into a fixture as big of this.
One man who has been a real problem of late is Wayne Rooney, with the United and England captain playing so below par, you find it hard to see how he is still playing at the top level.
However, the chances of us not seeing him take to the field this weekend have increased dramatically as he started against Northampton Town in the EFL Cup last night.
He’s at that age where three games in a week may be just too much for the 30-year-old, and I’d be very surprised if we see him line-up in the red of United come the return of the Premier League.
