Manchester United Football Club have already added Victor Lindelof to their ranks over the summer, with Jose Mourinho quite clearly identifying the centre-back area as a possible weakness of the squad. It doesn’t look like he’s stopping at just one signing, however.
Website 101 Great Goals quote journalist Gerard Romero, who is claiming that Jose Mourinho has asked Borussia Dortmund about Marc Bartra’s ‘situation’.
The 26-year-old defender was once on Barcelona’s books before he moved to the Westfalonstadion, but it seems like the self-proclaimed Special One is at least taking a look into the situation.

For me, Barta would be an astute piece of business if the club could pull off the signing. He only moved to Germany last summer, and played 23 times for Dortmund. However, he probably would have played many more minutes had he not gotten injured during an attack on the team bus earlier on in the year.
Our boss has always been a defence-first type coach, and he quite obviously isn’t happy with the performances of some members of the squad. Straight away, I’d be looking at both Phil Jones and Chris Smalling who, quite frankly, became liabilities at times. That simply has to change, particularly in those tight-knit, close matches.
