Jose Mourinho eyes two world class strikers to join him at Manchester United

Manchester United’s summer overhaul could go as far as changing the manager when this current season has ended, with Jose Mourinho expected to take charge. He’ll have his own ideas and players he wants to bring in, and planning for that is already underway.

According to the Daily Mirror, Jose Mourinho wants to bring in either Zlatan Ibrahimovic or Gonzalo Higuain to Manchester United this summer as the club looks to bring in that man who can score 20+ goals a season.

Both would offer that if they stay fit, which would be the bigger risk with Zlatan Ibrahimovic although he’ll be cheaper. He’s 34 now, and it would be a massive gamble because if he picks up one injury, then it could be curtains on his career.

Gonzalo Higuain on the other hand would cost more money. In excess of £50million if the latest reports are to be believed. However he is 28 and at the peak of his powers. Plus you’d also get many more years out of him.
