Things don’t look too good at Manchester United right now. The results aren’t right, the manager is at war with arguably his best player. It’s a story we’ve seen several times throughout Jose Mourinho’s managerial career…
Now, it looks as though things have taken another turn for the worst, if the latest report from the Daily Mail, per The Sun, turns out to be true…
They say that the latest player to receive a dressing down from Mourinho is Marcus Rashford. Apparently, the manager has questioned the 20-year-old’s attitude – and it all stems from the Champions League game that took place last week.
The Wythenshawe-born attacker failed to warm down properly following United’s 3-0 victory away at Youg Boys, that was after putting in a below-par display out in Switzerland; while also being banned domestically for getting into a tussle with Phil Bardsley…
Understandably, failure to comply with the warm-down rules angered Mourinho, with the manager speaking to Rashford and telling him that he isn’t too big to follow the rules.
Honestly, this doesn’t end well for Mourinho. He’s going to war with too many players in such a short space of time. We’ve seen this story play out before. On each occasion, the manager has lost his job. Don’t be surprised to see United looking for a ne boss before Christmas.
