Jose Mourinho identifies star trio he wants to sell at Manchester United

Manchester United Football Club decided to relieve Louis van Gaal of his first-team duties on Monday evening, and since then, the club have been closing in on the appointment of Jose Mourinho. The former Chelsea coach is already making huge transfer plans, if the latest reports are to be believed.

SunSport say that Jose Mourinho has already identified his first three players that he wants to sell upon being confirmed Manchester United, and I’m afraid its bad news for fans of Adnan Januzaj, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Antonio Valencia.

Jose Mourinho doesn’t like any of his players to be passengers, and at times we’ve witnessed that from Adnan Januzaj. The young man is rough round the edges still, and he could well be better suited by leaving Manchester United for regular first-team football elsewhere.

Bastian Schweinsteiger is an odd one. He has that experience the club need at the moment, and we’ve seen just how good he can be when fully fit. The main concern for Mourinho would be his injury record.

Onto Antonio Valencia. The Ecuadorian winger has been converted into a full-back by Louis van Gaal, and for the most part he’s done well. However he’s so one-footed its borderline ridiculous, and perhaps Jose Mourinho intends to bring in a new face in that area of the field.
