Manchester United and Jose Mourinho are trying hard to bring in new faces to the club before the European Championships get underway – and they managed to seal a move for Eric Bailly. The latest rumour comes out of Switzerland, with a move for Breel Embolo reportedly in the mix.
The 19-year old is expected to leave FC Basel this summer, with Tottenham also interested in his signature.
It doesn’t look like any move for the young man will be complete before the aforementioned EURO’s get underway though, and Embolo will be partaking in that tournament which starts tomorrow.
In all competitions, the young striker found the net an impressive thirteen times last term, and his involvement for club has also led to ten international caps.
His style of play relies heavily on pace, and at 6’1 he is tall enough to be a real threat in the air. On top of that he doesn’t mind a physical battle – meaning he looks tailor-made to play in the Premier League.
