Jose Mourinho loving life at Manchester United, admits he’d sign new deal without advisers

Manchester United Football Club have seen a real drastic improvement in their performances over recent weeks, as Jose Mourinho’s ideas and tactics seem to finally be paying dividends. Obviously, there is still a long way to go, but we’re certainly on the right track which is a huge positive.

It was always going to take time, as it is such a big job to turn us into perennial title challengers once again. Now, Jose Mourinho has been speaking to the media about his love and admiration for the club he is currently working at.

In an interview with Sky Sports News, Jose Mourinho was asked about whether United have already offered him a new deal, he responded:

“They didn’t! And I’m not expecting them to do that, because they gave me a three-year contract.” The Manchester United manager began.

“They are being super supportive with me, and always gave me the feeling that three years is not the time I am going to stay here, I always had the feeling that I am going to stay for more time.”

“They know that I’m loving it, at every level, I’m loving my job at Manchester United, and they know that if one day they bring the contract, I will sign it, I don’t even need my advisers, I’ll sign because I am loving it.”

“China money is attractive for everyone, but I love my football at the highest level more. Too young, 53, too young, too many years of football to go to a place like China.

“I want to stay in the most difficult place to win, so I’m in the right place.”

It’s always extremely reassuring to hear that the manager truly loves his job at Old Trafford and the Theatre of Dreams. I think he is enjoying his work at the moment, and he’s a coach that always loves a challenge.

The money available in the Chinese Super League at the moment is definitely a concern, because they can blow Premier League clubs out of the water in that regard, and football is just a job for the majority of the professionals out there at the moment.

For now though, Mourinho’s ours. Let’s hope that he continues to improve on this side here in Manchester, and I’m supremely confident we’ll be back to winning trophies in the not too distant future.
