Manchester United Football Club are clearly considering the long-term future of Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford, and you can certainly see why if recent results are anything to go by. The name on everyones lips in terms of a replacement is Jose Mourinho, and he has made a bold statement if appointed.
According to the Daily Mail, the self-proclaimed ‘Special One’ firmly believes he can turn Manchester United’s fortunes around, and deliver the Premier League title to Old Trafford next term.
In all honesty I wouldn’t put it past him either. He’s the perfect manager in these kind of situations, just look what he did at Chelsea during his second spell there.
There aren’t many better short-term managers in the world than the Portuguese coach, and we all know just how desperate Jose Mourinho is to take the Manchester United hot-seat.
