Manchester United Football Club managed to beat Hull City at Old Trafford last night, as Jose Mourinho’s men scored twice and managed to keep it tight at the back to put them in pole position. Things are certainly looking up at the moment, but the manager wasn’t completely happy.
After the game, Jose Mourinho seemed in bullish mood with reporters, and in my opinion, his elite mentality came shining through. He wants and expects perfection, and he knows there is a long way to go. That also included somewhat of a dig at the Old Trafford crowd, as the gaffer admitted he needs the ‘stadium to do better’ against Liverpool on Sunday.
“On Sunday I need to do better, the players need to do better & the stadium has to do better” Jose Mourinho is quoted as saying by Times journalist Paul Hirst.
Jose unhappy with MUFC team, himself & crowd: "On Sunday I need to do better, the players need to do better & the stadium has to do better"

The atmosphere inside the Theatre of Dreams was certainly one of expectation in that game, and the manager is right about the team needing more from the crowd against Liverpool on Sunday. I’m certain he’ll get that backing, and in the so-called ‘bigger games’, Old Trafford is usually rocking.
He has to be happy with the overall result though, and although the players still have some improving to do, things are definitely moving in the right direction.
