Manchester United take on Liverpool tomorrow, in a game that could cement the Red Devils’ as the ‘best of the rest’.
Before the intriguing encounter, Jose Mourinho met the media to discuss all things Manchester United. The self-proclaimed Special One offered us an injury update, but it was an extremely positive one.
He claimed that Eric Bailly is finally ready to return, whereas Marouane Fellaini is also fit enough to return to the squad; although I got the impression that the Belgian wouldn’t be close to starting the match.

Having Bailly back is a huge plus. The Ivory Coast international is by far and away our best defender. He’s aggressive, front-footed and positionally great. Heck, putting him in the team ahead of the struggling Victor Lindelof or the poor Phil Jones is a huge confidence-booster.
Then you have Marouane Fellaini. Obviously, he isn’t everybody’s cup of tea, but on his day he can do a brilliant job. If United are chasing the game and they need a goal late on, I certainly wouldn’t be against bringing him on and launching a few crosses into the penalty area…
