Manchester United Football Club and Jose Mourinho are doing their utmost to mould the squad ahead of the new season, and that could continue with a couple of key sales. The news comes from Duncan Castles who writes in the Daily Record.
Castles says that United’s new manager Mourinho has put both Marcos Rojo and Daley Blind up for summer sale, to make room for new additions in that area of the field.
The club have added Eric Bailly to bolster the defence, but it’s clear that Jose isn’t sold on Blind’s versatility, or Rojo’s defensive qualities whatsoever.
Daley Blind has been one of the best performers at the club over the last two years, and it would be absolutely gutting to see him go as many feel he still has plenty to offer. However, Rojo on the other hand, has been shambolic at times, and has looked nothing like a defender capable of playing at the highest level week-in-week-out.
