Manchester United’s tie against FC Rostov is finely poised at 1-1, with Jose Mourinho’s men looking to earn a place in the quarter-final of the Europa League. The game itself certainly won’t be easy, and our task could have been made harder with injuries.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic will return, as his domestic ban still has two games to go. However, the manager has a dilemma to figure out, as he has confirmed that neither of Wayne Rooney or Anthony Martial are able to play.
“We have the same players we had in the last match plus Ibrahimovic returning.” Jose Mourinho is quoted as saying by United’s official Twitter feed.

This is certainly a blow, and it does leave us with limited options. Both guys missing are highly versatile and can fill in the team by playing in a number of positions.
However, having Zlatan back is huge. In my opinion, he’ll definitely start this game as the sole striker, and we desperately need a big performance from him.
I guess another plus is that Jose does have some players rested. Ander Herrera only played 30 minutes before he was sent off, and the same can be said for Henrikh Mkhitaryan who was subsequently subbed by the manager following that red card. Eric Bailly didn’t play against Chelsea so he should come back into the game in my opinion, and Michael Carrick didn’t get on the field either.
