Jose Mourinho set to seal first Man Utd signing within 48 hours – report

The club haven’t even announced the departure of Louis van Gaal yet, and it seems like a formality that Jose Mourinho will become boss. The latest reports say that the self-proclaimed Special One is already closing in on his first signing – and its a big one.

David McDonnell who writes for The Mirror has claimed that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will become Jose Mourinho’s first Manchester United transfer.

The 34-year old free agent is looking to get a deal elsewhere after his contract ran out at Paris Saint-Germain, and Manchester United are firmly in the running to land the influential Swede.

With the European Championships now just weeks away, Ibrahimovic is hoping his future is all sorted before he captains Sweden in the huge international tournament.

There is no doubting that Jose Mourinho means business, and he’s looking to get the Manchester United squad shaped in his image as soon as possible. Zlatan Ibrahimovic would be an excellent start.
