Jose Mourinho singles out two players for huge praise after Chelsea performance

Manchester United Football Club secured one of their biggest wins of the season over the weekend, as the Red Devils absolutely battered Chelsea at Old Trafford. Manager Jose Mourinho got his tactics absolutely spot on, and the gaffer deserves all the praise for hatching an excellent plan.

The self-proclaimed Special One looked absolutely elated with his players after the full-time whistle, and it’s fair to say the eleven guys who took to the field gave absolutely everything for the cause.

After the match, the manager was speaking to the media about just how good his players were, and the Portuguese singled out both Eric Bailly and Marcos Rojo, because they’ve been playing superbly throughout the season; yesterday was just another day at the office for them, and we’ve definitely become accustomed to some top quality performances from them.

“Bailly and Rojo, I think they deserve a special mention because they have played in absolutely every game, non-stop.” Jose told Sky Sports, as per the Daily Mirror.

They definitely deserve the mention. Both Chris Smalling and Phil Jones have both been injured for quite some time now, and it doesn’t look like they’ll be coming back anytime soon. The onus has been solely on Bailly and Rojo to keep clean sheets and they’ve done it wonderfully.

I firmly expected Rojo to be sold this summer but he’s kept working hard and fought his way into the team. As for Bailly, that was a sensational signing by Mourinho and the Ivorian definitely has the potential to become one of the best in the world.
