Manchester United Football Club have announced the departure of Louis van Gaal, and with that, the excitement builds as we move towards the appointment of Jose Mourinho. The incoming boss is already making transfer arrangements, according to ESPN.
They say that Mourinho wants to make Everton’s John Stones his first signing, as he looks to overhaul Manchester United’s current squad.
ESPN add that the Portuguese manager wants to sign Stones as well as one other defender, a commanding central midfielder, a proven winger as well as a top class goalscorer.
Now this is obviously an awful lot to do in one transfer window, and it’ll probably take him a year or two for him to get things right at Manchester United.
When he’s had time, we should see plenty of success with Mourinho at the helm. His CV speaks for itself, and he has won the league at every club he has managed up until this point – lets hope he can repeat that feat whilst at the Theatre of Dreams.
