Jose Mourinho working on yet another transfer as he looks to bolster midfield

Manchester United Football Club have already brought in three new players through the Old Trafford doors, and it’s evident that Mourinho doesn’t want to stop there. The latest reports hint of a move to bring in Real Madrid superstar, James Rodriguez.

The Columbian has been in and out of the team under Zinedine Zidane, and could be growing increasingly frustrated at his lack of opportunities. Now, The Telegraph say a move to Old Trafford could well be on the cards.

United have reportedly offered £34million for the services of Rodriguez, but you’d imagine it’d take a significantly higher amount for Madrid to even contemplate parting with one of their fan favourites.

Rodriguez himself probably wouldn’t be all to keen on the idea at this point in time either, Madrid can offer him Champions League football, whereas United cannot at the moment. Perhaps the situation will be different in twelve months time.
