Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is unhappy at the club at the moment, but he will not be handing in his resignation.
That’s according to The Times, who adds that the self-proclaimed Special One has his differences with Edward Woodward, in regards to transfer market dealings and the way other departments are being run at the moment…
Look, it’s pretty clear to see that Old Trafford isn’t a happy place at the moment. But do you really think that Mourinho is going to walk away? Particularly when he’ll get a hefty pay-off if he is forced out of the door. That just wouldn’t be good business sense. If he’s to leave, it’ll have to come via the sack.
Mourinho’s a proud man. He’ll want to prove people wrong. We have to remember that this is just one loss, and it came early on in the season, too. There is time aplenty to fix the issue. Football fans are fickle. Just you watch, we’ll go on a nice winning streak over the next few weeks and all these problems will be forgotten about until the next time we lose.
Let’s get behind the manager and give him time. Then, consider his position next summer.
