Manchester United have been forced into relying heavily on their youth products at times this season, and more often than not those young guys have succeeded. Perhaps the most impressive duo so far has been Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford, and Juan Mata has had his say on the pair.
“Martial & Rashford are very good and but can improve. They’re under 20 and have great qualities; fast and can score goals.” Juan Mata said.
Quite frankly both of their potential abilities are absolutely absurd. They both have pace, real ability to score goals, but most importantly they are intelligent in their decision making.
I bet Juan Mata himself loves playing with these two along with the likes of Jesse Lingard. Their pace allows him to do what he does best – spot the runners and deliver deadly balls. Without these fast guys in the team the Spaniard has found it hard to pick those defence-splitting passes, but hopefully we’ll see that change now.
