Juventus are ready to sell Arturo Vidal, claims reliable journalist

Manchester United have been given the clearest indication yet that Arturo Vidal could be on the move, as respectable journalist Gabriele Marcotti has claimed that Juventus are ready to part ways with their star midfielder. The Chilean midfielder’s contract doesn’t expire until 2018, so he’ll certainly cost a pretty penny.

We all know that Vidal is one of the best midfielders in the world, and probably the most complete footballer on the planet right now. At 27, he is at the peak of his powers and this is something Manchester United need. Honestly, if we can lure him in, alongside other reported targets Mats Hummels and Angel Di Maria, I’d fancy us to win the title under Van Gaal next year.

“With Vidal, We’ve had the clearest indication in a long time that Juventus are ready to part ways with him.” Marcotti said.

Marcotti went on to say that Juventus are trying to push Vidal to Manchester United, most probably due to the lack of direct competition for the next season at least. The fees reported in the media have been around the £40million mark, which in today’s market is relatively cheap for someone of his ability.
