Juventus & Bayern Munich impressed by 21-year-old Man United man, keeping tabs on him: report

Now i’ve seen some rather odd transfer rumours during my time, but I must pre-warn you, this one is up there with the weirdest.

According to ESPN, both Juventus and Bayern Munich are keeping tabs on Manchester United goalkeeper, Dean Henderson…

The 21-year-old, who is currently out on loan with Sheffield United, is enjoying an excellent season in the Championship as The Blades have moved up to third in the table.

Now, it seems as though he’s caught the eye of some of European football’s top guns, which is somewhat odd given he’s probably fifth in the pecking order at Old Trafford.

It just goes to show how great United are at scouting and working with goalkeepers. David de Gea’s the best in the business, where I’m hard-pressed to find a better back-up than Sergio Romero. Then you have Lee Grant who’s an excellent player, while Joel Pereira is immensely gifted.

I do like Henderson and I think he’s got a bright future in football. With that said, I’m not sure he’ll ever get the chance to play regularly at the Theatre of Dreams, so if the right offer comes in, I’d be tempted to sell up…
