Manchester United have some extremely tricky fixtures over the next month or so. Things kick off with a Premier League game away at Chelsea, before Juventus visit Old Trafford next Wednesday.
Ahead of the Champions League encounter, news has broke suggesting that Juventus may well be missing one of their key players; Paulo Dybala.
According to Italian media outlet Calciomercato, the Argentine picked up an injury while on international duty. He’s set to skip Juventus’ Serie A game this weekend, while Old Lady boss, Max Allegri, is ‘hopeful’ that he’ll be good to take on United.
Dybala, 24, has emerged as one of the better attacking talents in Europe over the last few years. Even if he does make it, there is no way that he’ll be 100% fit. At this point, with morale at United being low, the Red Devils need all the boosts they can get.
These two games against Juventus could well shape the group. Win at least one, and we’re practically guaranteed passage through to the knockout rounds, while also being in with a shot at winning the group. Lose both, well, Valencia CF will be hot on our tails and qualification at that point could be in doubt.
