Juventus to sell Paul Pogba to fund £60m raid for Manchester United duo

Paul Pogba was regarded as one of the hottest prospects at Manchester United, before the youngster left for a mere 300k when Juventus came knocking with a bigger contract offer for the French international. However the 21-year old could be sold by the Italian club, to fund a bid for both Robin van Persie and Nani, according to the Express.

Juventus believe it’ll take around £60m to tempt United into selling both Van Persie and Nani, and thats how much they value Paul Pogba at. Paris Saint-Germain are the favourites for Pogba’s signature, as the Qatari owned club look to snap up all the excellent French prospects whatever the cost.

Robin van Persie is believed to be unsettled at Old Trafford, but now that his friend, and Holland boss Van Gaal is heavy favourite for the job, the 31-year old may consider staying in Manchester for a little while longer.

Nani hasn’t had much game time this season, primarily due to the fact that he’s been injured for the majority. He made his return against Everton at the weekend, and struggled to get into the game at all. Having just penned a new five-year deal in the summer, he’s likely to cost a pretty penny.

  1. would be a good deal for utd getting rid of an inconsistent player & injury prone ageing striker for a young upcoming player yet to reach his peak, however it depends whos in charge & when if its even to be considered.

  2. No one on this planet is dumb enough to pay €60m for those two players. Maybe €10m for Nani and €20m for van Persie. Tops.
