It’s being reported in the Mail today that Rovers boss Steve Kean wants to bring Will and Michael to Blackburn on a season long loan. Kean was at the England U19s game at the weekend where they both featured, with Will scoring two goals himself.
Ferguson has recently confirmed that he is looking to send both brothers out on loan so they can gain some match experience. This comes after they have both had solid seasons for the Utd reserves, with Michael winning reserve player of the year and Will finishing the season as top scorer.
A loan move to a club pushing for Championship promotion will be beneficial to the brothers, they will get the match experience that they both need if they want to feature for our first team. A club like Blackburn based also in the North-West means that we can check on their progress and send coaches to watch their games to see how they improve as footballers.
