Manchester United have been simply unbelievable since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took charge.
The Red devils legend has won twelve from thirteen, powering United up the league table and into the FA Cup quarter-final.
Next up, is an extremely tricky game against Liverpool. The title challengers will be hoping to get three points and move back atop the tree this weekend, while United will want to boost their top four hopes.
Before the game, Jurgen Klopp has been speaking to the media about all things United. The German was full of praise for Solskjaer. He also singled out two United players for their recent impeccable form.
“I think Ander Herrera is in the best period of his life, it’s unbelievable how he’s playing, Pogba is Pogba again.” Klopp is quoted as saying by Sky Sports.
“The workrate of the strikers is unbelievable. They always had the speed but now they’re using it in the right moments.
“There is a lot of quality in the team. The last line (of defence), there was a lot of discussion about that.”
We all knew what Pogba was capable of when allowed to be free. He has been simply sensational, scoring, assisting, creating and working. It’s probably the best form of his life and long may it continue.
Ander Herrera has been the surprise. He was stunning against Chelsea last time out and it’s just wonderful to see him back to his best. Many forget that he won United’s Player of the Year award a few seasons ago.
Midfield has to be the battle we need to win. If we can control the ball, get on the front foot and create openings, we have more than enough firepower to hurt this Liverpool defence.
