Leny Yoro has reacted and sent a message to the fans after making his Man United debut vs Rangers.
Manchester United Football Club may well have found their centre-back for the next decade in the form of Leny Yoro.
The Frenchman, who was snatched from under Real Madrid’s noses, made his debut for United in Edinburgh against Rangers today. The Red Devils won 2-0, with some players putting in top tier performances – including Yoro himself.
Our new number fifteen looked calm and composed throughout and you can tell he’s built in a very similar mould to former Red, Raphael Varane. Quite frankly, he was a joy to watch for the 45 minutes he was out on the field.
Thankfully, the player himself also enjoyed his first outing in his new shirt, with Yoro speaking to MUTV post-match.

“It was incredible. I am happy with my performance.” Yoro told Simon Stone, per MUTV. “The staff make me comfortable. For me it is really good. We go to America for three competitive games. The team will give everything to win them.”
Yoro showcased it all. There was one raking, 50-yard pass that was inch perfect into the feet of Sam Murray. It started an attack and that’s something this United side has been lacking in over recent years.
Shortly after playing that pass, Yoro was tested defensively in a one-on-one situation. The United man came out on top, denying an almost certain goal for Rangers.
Yes, it was just a friendly. Yes, it was just 4 minutes. That said, it was highly encouraging and you know if the display went the other way we would not hear the end of it for weeks.
