United youngster Jesse Lingard has expressed his desires to continue his good form against AIK in Sweden next Tuesday. The attacking midfielder finished the tour as top scorer, finding the net four times – including a couple of absolute screamers. The 20-year old is hoping to feature in Moyes’ plans this season.
Whilst speaking to ManUtd.com, Jesse said:
“Hopefully I’ll get the chance to play in Sweden and even get among the goals, to keep me in the manager’s thoughts,”
I doubt whether Lingard will become a first-team regular straight away, but if he continues to impress when he gets his chances it’ll be hard for Moyes to leave him out.
