Manchester United scraped a hard-fought 1-0 victory away at Liverpool yesterday, with Louis van Gaal perhaps saving his job for another few weeks. After the game, Liverpool’s Mamadou Sakho has said that he could hear United’s players shouting in the dressing room at half-time.
“Man Utd were lucky and they know it. We could hear them shouting in dressing room at half-time.” Sakho told the media.
He went on to say that the players were arguing amongst themselves, but maybe thats what fired United to the eventual victory. Anyway, who was he listening to the United dressing room, surely he should be solely focused on what Liverpool were doing.
Form always goes out of the window in these types of games, and Manchester United got the job done and took all three points. When you’re playing Liverpool, the only thing that matters is the result, and Louis van Gaal managed to secure a huge result.
