Louis Saha has urged his former employers to make their move for Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane.
Harry Kane is amongst the world’s best finishers. Though at White Hart Lane, his talent is somewhat wasted as they never win any major pieces of silverware. If you believe reports from Sky Sports News, the English hitman could well ask to leave Tottenham this coming summer.
If that’s the case, Manchester United simply have to be right at the front of the queue. Kane ticks all the boxes and he has done for many years. This is a move with so much upside and very little downside. Goals, work ethic, a team player, hold-up play and an on-field leader.
Now, ex-Reds star, Louis Saha, has urged his former employers to make their move for the top-class 27-year-old who is ‘a perfect fit’. The Frenchman also went on to say that he’s the type of player who can help you win Premier League titles.

“When you have the quality of Harry you need the trophies to represent that. It’s a shame and I think the guy deserves pictures of him lifting trophies that will come to symbolize what he has achieved as a player.” said Louis Saha, speaking exclusively to 888sport.
When you have a player like Cristiano Ronaldo playing for so many big teams, he will tell you that what’s he looking for is trophies. Winning leagues is what puts you in the frame to win the Ballon d’Or. Harry can love his club and be attached to it but ultimately he must want a team that can compete to win things. He’s the type of player who deserves that and needs a club that provides this platform.”
“I believe that’s at Man United. He is 27 and has at least another five years on top form. He’s a guaranteed striker who can get you 30 goals and give plenty of assists to other players. I see this as a perfect fit because he’s the perfect player though maybe the money isn’t perfect. It would be a massive fee but if you want to win the Premier League you need players like Harry who is right up there.”
Saha knows what it takes to win major trophies. He also knows a bit about sticking the ball in the back of the net, too. United would be foolish to not heed his advice.
We’re talking about someone who guarantees 20+ goals, season-in-season-out. Factor in Edinson Cavani likely on his way out, the timing couldn’t be better for the Old Trafford club to make their move.
Sadly, it’s not as easy as ringing up Spurs and saying we want Kane. Daniel Levy is probably the toughest negotiator in the business. He’s not going to let his prized asset walk away cheaply.
You’d imagine the fee will probably go above and beyond that £100million mark, maybe even higher. Is that worth it? If Kane comes and wins a title or two, it absolutely is.
